ALBERT LEE

After working as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO, Mr. Lee has handled prosecution and litigation matters across numerous technologies (including matters for Standard Essential Patents: SEPs) for large Korean conglomerates, mid-sized companies, etc. while working at several Korean IP law firms. 

As in-house counsel, he has dealt with various IP matters that involved in-depth IP strategy issues, patent monetization as well as global litigation and licensing matters. 

His responsibilities included the managing of global IP portfolios, handling freedom-to-operate issues, patent valuation, IP contention prevention, in-house drafting of particular technologies, prior art searching and analysis for patent infringement related matters, defensive and offensive litigation campaigns, licensing negotiations, trade secret issues, and working with company business units, engineers, upper management and C-level executives. Mr. Lee provides valuable advice to clients from an in-house perspective in order to meet their important business goals while also protecting their valuable IP matters.
