Mr. Robbins brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of intellectual property matters, including prosecution, licensing, litigation and appellate proceedings. In particular, he has handled thousands of patent applications for domestic and foreign clients with respect to inventions related to semiconductors, memory devices, displays, network access, as well as computing and information technologies.
As a former Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), examination of optical systems with a focus on electro-optical modulators was his specialty.
Mr. Robbins previously worked at various law firms in the Washington, D.C. area and also was an IP attorney at the Naval Research Laboratory where he drafted and prosecuted patent and trademark applications, provided licensing and other tech
transfer counseling in imaging, high assurance computing and information technologies, and provided general IP counseling for Navy and DoD contractors.
